Albuquerque TVI Montoya Campus Media Center

This 35,000 sf, two-story facility is located on a narrow and steep site at the southeast corner of this community college campus. It will be the new "campus entry" from the south. This multi-purpose instructional facility will house general and computer classrooms, a science lab, a technology lab, an art studio, faculty offices and student support areas. A central commons creates an accessible pedestrian link from the existing parking lot to the rest of the campus to the north, which is sixteen feet lower in elevation. It is articulated with glass and steel and capped with an inverted metal roof that enhances this pathway through the building.
