NM State Capitol Building Renovation
Santa Fe, New Mexico

1992

190,000 sf

$18,600,000

The New Mexico State Capitol Building provides the working environment for the executive and legislative branches of government.  As such, it is an icon for the state.  The major goal of the work was to make public spaces and committee rooms larger and more functional and to address code violations.  It required a total interior gutting and remodeling of office suites, meeting areas, and legislative chambers along with complete replacement of mechanical and electrical systems.  The Capitol exterior also received a major face-lift.
