The Military Education Facility, also known as the National Guard Academy, provides state-wide training for both male and female enlisted personnel and officers. Part of the National Guard Complex, it can accommodate 200 people in a three building educational and dormitory-style housing complex. Major areas are an assembly hall, cafeteria and kitchen, classrooms, admin. offices, dormitories with laundry facilities, arms vault and unit storage. This prominent complex responded to a site visible from Interstate 25 and communicates an image appropriate to its use.
