The Army Reserve Center located on the National Guard Headquarters campus south of Santa Fe houses the 52nd Engineering Battalion and the 84th Finance Battalion. This 31,500 sf facility contains a variety of spaces such as assembly hall and kitchen, classrooms, library, administrative offices, arms vault, storage areas, and a heavy vehicle repair and maintenance shop. Centrally located on the north side of the parade grounds, we created a formal expression featuring a strong entrance element. The building features brick in several colors, concrete masonry for service functions, and standing seam metal on sloping roofs.
