Sustainable Design
Sustainable design is not the latest architectural design trend. It’s a new and critical way of thinking that reaches beyond the immediate and into the future.
At FBT, we are committed to providing environmentally friendly designs that extend beyond the raw materials. We focus on the impact a project might have on the natural and existing structures of the surrounding area. We understand—and minimize where possible—the demands that our projects might place upon non-sustainable power sources. And we pay special attention to resources required for heating, cooling, water and waste management, and lighting.
To date, we are pleased to have many projects that have received designation by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System for meeting standards for environmentally sustainable construction.
